Pastor Pearlie M. Freeman
Pastor Freeman is a bi-vocational pastor.  She has been preaching and teaching the word of God since 1993.  She has a Baccalaureate Degree from DePaul University and a Masters Degree from Olivet Nazarene University.  She works as a director with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics located downtown Chicago for over 36 years. She is founder of the Rock of Salvation Baptist Church which is organized on June 2, 2000. She is a member of the 37th Ward Pastors Alliance where she works hand-in-hand with other pastors to deal with social ills of her church community.  She actively participants in fellowship opportunities and monthly pastoral development training sessions with the Life Changing Fellowship of Churches under the leadership of Apostle Mattie J. Phillips.  She is currently completing a two-year biblical certificate program through the Life Changing Biblical College.  She is a wife, a mother of two, and a grandmother of eleven.  Pastor Freeman has a strong love and passion for God’s people and is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ at home and abroad. "I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth for all the things he has done for me."  Pastor Freeman publishes a poetry blog,  "In Times Poetry at  http://www.intimespoetry.blogspot.com.  Praise God for That!
 
 
Elder James W. Freeman
Elder Freeman is the eight of eleven siblings. He was born in Sidon, Mississippi in 1957 and relocated to Chicago in 1959. He graduated high school at the age of 17 and attended college one year after learning the trade of stucco and plastering.   He started working in stucco and plastering for a wage of $4.50 an hour.  He faithfully labored with the same company for over 25 years.  He started his own company, Roxment Stucco, in 1999. He heard the call of the Lord in the early 80's and now labor for the Lord, preaching for the last eight years, teaching for the last fourteen years and studying the Word of God for over 30 years. Elder Freeman is a successful business owner, the owner of six investment properties.  He is currently completing a two-year biblical program through the Life Changing Biblical College.  Elder Freeman is a husband, father, grandfather and son.  He is a servant, called to be an Elder, who ministry is to shine light to blinded eyes, preach liberty to the captives and to free them who are bound, to preach the acceptable year of the lord. He has a strong passion to spread the gospel.
